Colusa County Office of Education

The Technology Services department at CCOE plays a critical role in ensuring that all of Colusa County’s school districts and programs have access to reliable, modern technology infrastructure. Among its responsibilities are maintaining both local‑ and wide‑area networks, managing the county‑wide technology plan, and supporting the Colusa Educators Wide Area Network (CEWAN), which connects schools across the region. The department also operates a help‑desk to assist educators and staff with technical problems, offers phone and video‑camera support, and helps with software systems and school data tools, all essential for both classroom instruction and administrative operations.

Beyond basic infrastructure and troubleshooting, Technology Services supports the incorporation of technology into teaching and learning. The department provides staff‑development and training sessions to help educators use digital tools effectively, adapting instructional practices for today’s learning environment.
