Superintendent's Message

As we begin the 2026–27 school year, I am excited about the opportunities ahead for our students, school districts, families, staff, and communities across Colusa County. The start of a new school year brings renewed energy, new opportunities, and a chance to build on the great work already happening across the Colusa County Office of Education. Whether we support students directly, partner with our local school districts to strengthen programs, or provide essential services behind the scenes, our work is connected by a shared purpose: serving our students, districts, families, and community.

Our CCOE values guide how we carry out that work. We strive to communicate effectively, collaborate cooperatively, operate efficiently, and educate totally. These values help keep us focused on strong service, meaningful partnerships, responsible stewardship, safe and supportive environments, and continuous improvement. I am grateful for our employees' dedication, the partnership of our school districts and community organizations, and the trust of the students and families we serve. There is much to look forward to this year, and I am excited about what we will accomplish together as we continue working to ensure strong opportunities and support for students throughout Colusa County.
