Childcare Resource and Referral Program

  • Supports families in their search for affordable child care services through providing referrals that meet family needs.
  • Training opportunities and workshops are provided on various topics including child development and licensing regulations for licensed day care providers for children birth to 13 years.

TrustLine is the California registry of in-home and license-exempt child care providers (babysitters and nannies) who have passed a background check.  TrustLine was created by the California Legislature to give parents an important tool to use when selecting a caregiver for their children.  It is the only authorized screening program of in-home and license-exempt caregivers in the state with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI and access to California’s Child Abuse Central Index.  TrustLine is endorsed by the California Academy of Pediatrics.  TrustLine can be reached at 1-800-822-8490 or www.trustline.org.

Our Alternative Payment and Programs

  • Alternative Payment Program: Provides subsidies to pay for child care for children while the parents are working, in training, or seeking employment.
  • Respite Program: Provides temporary child care by referral for families and children.

Adult and Child Care Food Programs

  • Helps ensure that nutritious meals are served to children being cared for in the home by licensed family day care providers.
  • Provides training in nutrition for child care providers.

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) allows our programs to serve nutritious meals and snacks. 

  • Provide children with nutritious, well-balanced meals to enhance their ability to learn.
  • Develop good eating habits that will last through later years.
