The Resource & Referral Program supports families in their search for affordable child care services through providing referrals that meet family needs.  Training opportunities and workshops are provided on various topics including child development and licensing regulations for licensed day care providers for children birth to 13 years.  All services are offered to all Colusa County families regardless of family income.

• Alternative Payment Program: Provides subsidies to pay for child care for children while the parents are working, in training, or seeking employment.

• Respite Program: Provides temporary child care by referral for families and children.
  
  

The Family Day Care Food Program:

• Helps ensure that nutritious meals are served to children being cared for in the home by licensed family day care providers.

• Provides training in nutrition for child care providers. 

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) allows our programs to serve nutritious meals and snacks. 

• Provide children with nutritious, well-balanced meals to enhance their ability to learn.

• Develop good eating habits that will last through later years.
