What's Happening...
On Friday, November 8, 2019, the following newly elected Policy Council Representatives participated in Policy Council Training at Granzella’s Inn Conference Room. In this training, they learned how to develop leadership skills and communication skills. They also learned their roles and responsibilities as a Policy Council Representative, how meetings work, and how to actively participate.

On May 16, 2019, the Policy Council Representatives visited the Sacramento State Capitol to advocate for the children and families in our programs. The Representatives had a VIP tour of the State Capitol & Governor’s Mansion. They also had the opportunity to meet Senator Nielsen.
