Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program provides students Basic Patient Care information and training. This program is designed to prepare students for employment as a Nurse Assistant.
Students will learn basic patient care, observation, and communication skills. In addition, skills such as problem-solving, safety, and interpersonal skills are embedded into the program. Basic Patient Care prepares students to take the State Competency Exam required for certification. Clinical hours are a required part of this program.

Important Dates:
• May 28, 2024 - Application due
• May 31, 2024 – Selected candidates will be notified
• June 5th and 7st, 2024 – Available dates to complete the Mandatory CASAS Testing
• June 10, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. – Mandatory Orientation
• June 11th – July 11th, 2024 – Academic Support (if applicable)
• June 24th through August 6th, 2024 - Classes in session
• Total of 161 hours
• Days and times of classes:
• Theory in classroom: Monday-Wednesday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Clinical portion at clinical sites: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• Graduation: August 8th, 2024 at 4:30 p.m.
