Stefani is the living and breathing definition of persistence and tenacity.  Since joining the And Literacy for All program in 2020, then called Innovative Approaches to Literacy (IAL), Stefani has shown that her passion is in helping others.  At one point a couple of years into her time with IAL, and in the thick of the COVID pandemic, Stefani was the only employee in the program and was doing the work that normally three people would do.  This didn’t go unnoticed.  When the IAL grant ended a decision was made to continue the literacy program under a new moniker, And Literacy For All (ALFA), and Stefani was promoted to management as our new Literacy Coordinator.  In the two years since, Stefani has excelled in promoting our literacy programs and tools to the communities of Colusa County, and she and her team are a true shining light and example for all.  Thank you for your dedication and hard work Stefani!

As the Director of Business Services, Angelina is truly responsible for keeping the lights on at CCOE.  Angelina oversees a general fund budget in excess of $20 million dollars, and as such maintains the highest of ethical standards in how these tax dollars are expended.  Our auditors compliment Angelina and her staff often for the level of adherence to our internal controls, as evidenced by the fact that CCOE has not had a single audit finding under Angelina’s watch.  But more than that, Angelina takes the time needed to train and nurture her staff as she continually builds them up to be ready to face the ever-present new challenges in school business.  We are lucky to have you here Angelina, thank you.

John Ithurburn constantly demonstrates exemplary leadership skills with his ability to inspire, motivate and guide all members of his team, ensuring goals are achieved.  One of John’s most admirable traits is his collaborative spirit, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone is valued.  This approach has boosted team morale resulting in a positive impact on the entire CCOE organization.  Moreover, John leads by example.  He constantly demonstrates integrity, professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to offer support.

Sabrina joined CCOE as our Director of Human Resources in 2022, and had an immediate impact as we were still trying to make our way out of the COVID pandemic, and faced numerous new employee laws and regulations.  Sabrina handled these challenges by facing them head-on, studying the pertinent laws, reaching out to colleagues for advice and examples, and after much research and fact finding, coming up with the best ways for our organization to move forward.  I especially love that Sabrina is an active and constant learner, and always tries to find ways for CCOE to shine—she’s awesome!
