| Elizabeth is the backbone of the Accounts Payable Department for not only the Colusa County Office of Education but the four school districts within Colusa County. She assists districts when they need it, supports all CCOE programs, and goes above and beyond by continuing to learn as much as she can to be a better help to whomever she encounters. Elizabeth exudes positivity and enthusiasm, and comes to work each day ready and willing to ensure our bills, vendors, employees, and daycare providers are paid in a timely manner. She has also taken on a leadership role, training new staff members in Accounts Payable. Elizabeth is an invaluable asset to the Colusa County Office of Education. |
| Heather Covarrubias is Colusa County SELPA’s Administrative Assistant, but more than that, she is the heart of the Education Village. She shows up every day ready to work and carries out her duties ethically and respectfully. Whenever additional coverage is needed, she is always willing to step in as a translator or special education transportation driver, and volunteers for cross training on other positions within the office to ensure efficiency when there are absences. She keeps special education programs running, which ensures that our students receive the services they need. She truly goes above and beyond for the Special Education Local Plan Area. We are beyond thankful for Heather’s support and dedication to our staff and students. |
