The Family Day Care Food Program:

  • Helps ensure that nutritious meals are served to children being cared for in the home by licensed family day care providers
  • Provides training in nutrition for child care providers.

The Center Based Food Program

The Center Based Food Program:

 

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provides federal funds to our child care centers to serve nutritious meals and snacks.

The objectives of the program are to:

  • Improve the diets of children by providing children with nutritious, well-balanced meals.
  • Develop good eating habits in children that will last through later years.
