ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Administrative Services supports the
overall mission of the Colusa County Office of Education by providing CCOE
programs and the school districts leadership and coordination for educational
services that promote the development of children and adults to their highest
potential.
SUPPORT SERVICES
- Services to the Superintendent and Board of
Education
- Planning through the Superintendent's
Administrative Leadership Team
- Facilitation of the Superintendents Council
- Assistance in policy development and
maintenance
- Contract monitoring
- Coordination of trustee elections
- Promotion of community and staff relations
- Coordination of administrative and
accountability training
RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
- Analysis of existing services and
programs
- Surveys to identify areas of need
- Coordination with other County
departments and the school districts
- Identification of potential resources
- Development of grant proposals to
provide needed services and programs
- Implementation of funded proposals
COMMUNICATION
- Information to all partners in
education about the programs and services that are provided to
the children, youth and families in the county
- Information about bills and
initiatives that affect public education
- Advocacy for reasonable and realistic
resources and requirements for accountability
- Development of effective systems that
encourage the exchange of views on issues of common concern
- Development of a public forum for
addressing the priorities of the community relative to public
education
- Development of media contacts and
formats
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
- Development of positive activities
for student recognition and achievement
- Development of rewards and incentives
for excellence
- Coordination of competitions which
encourage academic excellence
- Recognition of businesses as partners
in education
INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES
Education Support Services
provides assistance and resources to schools in curriculum and
instructional methodology and seeks to improve student achievement.

- Support system for teachers of visual
and performing arts
